How is Madden 08 online?

So now that Madden 08 has been out for a while, how has the online panned out? I remember people complaining about lag when it was first released. Have the problems been ironed out, or should I just wait until next year to get my online football fix?How is Madden 08 online?

im not sure, i played it the first couple of weeks, and i havent played since, mainly due to school, though I should try it again soon :)
To b honest I dont like it, i get pwnd everytime i go online...
To be honest with ya, it's a bit laggy for me. I also have a hard time finding people to play with, but that's cause I come back late at night from work. I've had some good experiences with it-- not much lag at times. I really don't know how Madden runs with the 360 or PS3, so I can't compare to them.
Still about a full second of lag. It's pretty crappy...If you have any other system get madden for it. I'm just not very pleased with the Wii version.
That's too bad that it isn't as smooth as we'd hoped. I guess I'll stick with my Gamecube Madden for now.
The other versions have their own bugs. Do a search they rushed out the game full well knowning there were game killing bugs in each version. Lag is the least of your worries in Madden 08. Blame EA not the wii online. EA setup the servers ea designed the game and decided to stick to scheldue rather then holdback the release to fix bugs. Game reveiwers btw knew about this bugs but were embarged from saying anything about them.
I think the game itself is fun but the online was nothing special. I only played one game online and it was a 1 second lag and I was beating my opponent at halftime by only 1 touchdown. In the third quarter they disconnected. I haven't gone back since. I'm sure next year they'll have the issues fixed.
Lag time is like a second. but im able to connect and everything better now. its better than it was but gameplay still is poor.
