Problem with my Wii

Does anyone else have a problem with their Wii hooked up to an HDTV. I've tried all the settings but the controller still won't function like it does on a regular tv.Problem with my Wii
Nope, never heard of it, just contact Nintendo Technical Support.Problem with my Wii
no complaints here. sorry guy.
Just get nintendo tech on the line.
It shouldn't matter what kind of tv if its a problem with the controller cause the controller reads the IR light from the sensor bar not the screen itself. Only thing i can think of is if you had your sensor bar above your regular tv then put it below the HD one or vice versa. check in the wii settings whether its set to above or below tv. Other than that is your sensor bar in a good place where the controller can pick up the IR light?
Hey.....you are not crazy. I bought an LCD HD TV today....and big problems. Sensor bar is in the same place, no interference.....Metroid Prime 3 seemed OK....maybe not quite as responsive, but playable. Tried playing Mario 1 (Virtual Console), and I get a delay from the 2 button.....only a split second when jumping, but enough to mess the gameplay you've been used to for 20 years up. Then I go to play MVP 2005 baseball (GameCube disc) and even the GameCube controller is having these problems....an infinitesimal delay in the batters swing, but now can't hit anything. Somebody help this guy AND myself!
HDTVs have signal lag. It's a well known issue. Please do a google search. Hundreds of threads have been made about HDTV lag that is quite noticeable on gaming.

[/QUOTE]Yes this guy is right. There is a brief delay between when you press a button or move the wiimote and the hdtv actually showing what you did. It has nothing to do with the Wii itself.
Get the component cables and that will fix it.Piece of cake.
Component cables ordered....hope that fixes it. :)
Read your effin tv manual and do research. HDTVs don't have a set of universal standards and often a 2000 dollar model is a piece of junk.
