Having problems with WiiConnect247

I just got a wireless router, and I have that all set up and it's working ok. I'm getting internet to my laptop, so I know that it's sending a signal. Well, I tried getting on the Wii shop channel (after getting some update that took hours and hours...) and it would get on for a while. But after a few minutes, it would stop and give me some error code. I tried getting on the Wii forcast and news channel and it just told me that ''WiiConnect24 is currently unavailable.''So does anyone know what the deal is?Having problems with WiiConnect247
Change the router channel to either 1 or 11 through its options on your PC. That should greatly improve speed and consistency.Having problems with WiiConnect247
IF you get an error code go to nintendo.com and hit the tech support tab then put in the error code language etc. The error code often does help tell you what you need to do.
your laptop could be interfering with the connection. i had that problem and i didn't realize it for a long time.
try turning wii connect on in the setting opition and try formatting your wii and then reestablish your internet connection again, changing your router ch.us helps too
Do not format the wii that destroys your vc purchases. Just delete the internet connection setting and set it up again.
formatting the wii will delete all vc purchases but from what im guessing i dont think he/she has yet been able to buy nething from vc, but formatting the wii will help the internet connection, this theaory has been around since day 1 of the wii
It will delete the purchase records. Meaning you cannot redownload those games. The idea that formatting the wii memory will help the internet connection is pure plain garbage plain and simple. Notice these complainers never try to find out what the error code is and often the solution is so damn simple you wonder why anyone would be flumoxed for more then two minutes.
i remember formatting my wii help me get into the shop ch. last year when i got internet error, i only formatted cause i got the idea from gs. idk butt i guess this person doesnt want help, newayz off topic question ne1 bowl a perfect game yet?
