Well since everyone (mostly everyone) is saying the Wii is more powerful than the Xbox.Old Question Revived, Do you Think Wii c ...
Of course...Old Question Revived, Do you Think Wii c ...
Yes, but it would be like the Original Xbox version cause that is how powerful the wii is.
Absolutely
The last gen consoles could play Doom 3, so why wouldn%26#39;t Wii be able to do it?
For the Xbox version... Yes. The PC version... No. Mainly because the PC version had better graphics, and more lighting and whatnot. I would even say with the right developers Wii could do Ninja Gaiden. All the previews from Websites have said that Metroid Prime 3 looks better then Halo 2. Give it a bit of time and in the next year we'll have some wicked games that even look good too!
If the Xbox can, then the Wii can as well.
yes
I don%26#39;t see why not.
Yeah. And also, id said that they might make a game for the Wii, but they would use their previous technology, ie. the Doom 3 engine. But I doubt they will make a game for Nintendo again... ever since Nintendo forced them to put green blood into their previous games.
Probably... I haven%26#39;t actually compared specs of Wii and the original Xbox, but I can%26#39;t see the Wii being that far off. Would it be as spot-on as the PC version was? That%26#39;s a little more debateable.Who cares anyhow? Doom 3 wasn%26#39;t that great... I%26#39;d much rather see Return To Castle Wolfenstein. Or just skip id altogether and get Valve to pop out Halflife or Halflife 2.
...wasn%26#39;t the XBOX version toned down from the PC version? If so, then yeah, the Wii could do it at slightly lower, optimized settings. Or rather, a little more than the XBOX, but not quite up to par with the PC version.
yes it probably can. It just depends on the developer working on the game.
The Wii can handle Doom III at 480p if the Xbox was able to, a lot of bump-mapping was needed (whatever that is) to make it work on the Xbox. Doom III just looks so good on Ultra Settings at a high resolution on a PC (something Xbox or Wii wont handle for sure), it requires 512MB of onboard video memory, but the gfx still holds up well today as it did on its debut on August 2004.
hell ya
1.5X as powerful as the Gamecube and the Gamecube was more powerful than the PS2 it's just the devs never took advantage of it. I think so.
Surely it could.
Of course...
Yeah no doubt.
yes
